God’s Word reminds us that we are called to serve one another in love. “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another” (Galatians 5:13). True service flows from the example of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. When we use our time, gifts, and resources to meet the needs of others, we reflect His heart and build up the body of Christ. Serving is not just about filling a role—it’s about living out our faith, strengthening our community, and pointing others to the hope of Jesus.
