Meet The StafF

Pastor Chad and his wife Julie helped plant the church in Southside and Chad now serves as our lead pastor. He and Julie have two sons, Noah and Ethan and their daughter in law, Karlie, recently had Flora their first grandchild. Julie is a graphic designer for First Community Bank and loves her backyard poultry. Chad is a potter and enjoys working on their farm. Chad is our primary teaching pastor and has a men's ministry on Thursday mornings. 

Pastor Andy and his wife Angela helped plant the church in Southside and Andy now volunteers as our shepherding pastor. He and Angela have two children, Blake and Kristen. Kristen is in school at UofA and Blake is in heaven. Angela recently purchased the Bread of Life Christian Book Store and serves in our Kids ministry. They both lead a young adult group on Sunday nights at their home. 

Pastor Jody and his wife Jami helped plant the church in Southside and now serves as our discipleship pastor. He and Jami have three daughters, Emma, Lauren, and Tess. Jody and Jami work at WRMC and recently finished building their home between Rosie and Oil Trough. Jody is a writer and enjoys playing in the worship band. They both host a small group Bible Study with Tim and Janice on Wednesday nights. 

Chris and Alyssa lead and are building our Recovery ministry. Chris serves as our Recovery pastor. Chris works at Bad boy Mower and Alyssa is in school to be a physicians assistant. Their family includes Katelynn and Isaac, Zach and his wife Gracious. Chris and Alyssa love four wheeling and getting out on the lake with friends and family. The recovery ministry is going to be on Monday nights at Mt Zion Baptist Church. 

Chuck and Gena helped plant the church in Southside and Chuck now serve as our Missions Pastor. Chuck leads a group to Nepal yearly. Chuck currently serves as an elder for the church and can be found serving on Sundays on the production team. Gena loves kids and serves in Kids ministry. They have two sons, Noah and Caden. They help serve a small group Bible Study on Sunday Nights with Roger and Kathy.

Tyler and Leea helped plant the church in Southside and Tyler now serve as our Youth Pastor. They lead our Compass Student Ministry Team and lead a group of Sr High Students on Wednesday evening Mid-Week at their house.  They have four children, Davie and Briggs and the twins Miller and Maeve. The Godushs have a passion for teenagers to know that they are loved and know the gospel of Jesus. 

Rachael and her husband Jeremy serve on our Sunday morning set up team, work in kids ministry, and Rachael is our newest addition to our Compass Kid's Ministry. Jeremy and Rachael have a new son name Mac. They also have Sawyer, Dottie, and Blaikely. Jeremy is an electrician and currently Rachael is a stay at home mom. They both host a small group Bible Study for JHigh on Wednesday nights at their house with our Student Ministry Team.

Aaron and his wife Cami were part of the initial church plant here in Southside and Aaron is serving on and leading our worship team. He is often known for his early years of touring and playing in the band Kingsdown and it is clear music is a passion of his. He and Cami are also the owner operators of Freddy’s Restaurant. Cami homeschools their two children Aubrey and Elijah and this family loves a good game night with friends. Together Aaron and Cami lead a small group Bible Study on Monday nights and love including all who want to join.

Janelle and her husband Joe serves on our worship team, work in kids ministry, and Janelle is our new Women's Ministry leader. Joe and Janelle have a son name Jet. They own the historic downtown movie theater, The Melba, and love contributing to the hometown community. They both help with a small group Bible Study on Monday nights in downtown Batesville. 

Roger and Kathy Reid are Southsiders. Roger retired from Southside school after a career in administration. Kathy still works as an educator. They are parents and grandparents and enjoy getting out on their UTV and riding the local trails. Roger is serving as our teams administrator and leading our "A-Team". This group of leaders will be helping recruit, equip, and encourage our 35 different teams. Teams handle Sunday operations and lots of ministry inside the church family and out in the community. 

Janice and her husband Tim helped plant the church in Southside and she now serve as our Financial Manager. Tim currently serves as an elder for the church. They both can be found working as greeters, helping the set up team, and making sure things run smoothly on Sundays. Tim and Janice have a heart for community outreach.  They own Fairchild mobile home park. They help lead a small group Bible Study on Wednesday Nights with the Smothermans.

Jordan is a teacher at Southside school and has a passion for students and seeing them grow in their love for Jesus. She helps lead our JHigh ministry on Wednesday evenings and she serves in Compass Kids on Sunday mornings. Jordan helped our teens and our kids go to camp this summer and served to help our Bible School be a success. We are so thankful to have her on our team. 

Shy is our social media and communications team leader. She helps coordinate our teams, staff, and ministry communication on Facebook, Instagram, and our communication through our website and newsletter. Shy and her husband Preston have four beautiful children, Ledger, Crystal, Sutton, and Corbin. Our church has so many talented people who help produce services, photograph events, and communicate what God is doing in our ministries.
