Sunday Morning Classes
Nursery
Our nursery is booming. We have around 20 ladies that serve in a rotation on Sunday mornings. Right Now the nursery is in the lobby office. Every week we prepare and are ready to serve families by loving and caring for their babies.
Toddler 1
The early childhood development is so fun. These little toddlers are figuring out the world and we count it a privilege to teach them songs and tell them the stories of the Bible as a foundation for their faith. We have an enthusiastic team of teachers and helpers ready to get to know your toddler.
Toddler 2
We want to encourage parents to download the Parent Cue and put your child's name and birthdate in the app so that you as a parent can receive age specific encouragement. Toddlers are able to learn at a rate that is amazing. Teaching kids basic character is part of our curriculum and our team is really thankful to partner with parents in this way.
Preschool
The social aspect of kids ministry can not be overstated. Kids love to come to church and make friends and it is so healthy for them. Learning with others is the best way to learn. These pre-schoolers and kindergartners are going to love the interactive learning environment we create every week.
K - 1st Grade
We are aware that the world our kids are growing up in is full of hostility towards the Bible and God's ways. Every Sunday matters in their spiritual formation. We want them to know Jesus. We want them to hear and understand what the gospel is from an early age so they will be ready when the time comes for them to respond.
2nd - 3rd Grades
2nd and 3rd graders have lots of questions and our teachers are ready to teach them that the Bible is full of answers and wisdom. This stage is life is when kids are able to begin to form a sense of their own identity. We want that identity rooted in truth and godliness.
4th - 6th Grade
Our 4th, 5th and 6th grade teachers are able to dig in deep with these students and work out what it means to commit their lives to Christ and live a christian life. We consider it a great privilege to encourage their faith and help kids learn to be people prayer and faith.
Your Child & Screens
A couple times a year we offer a class for parents and kids on screens and their impact. We believe this is a generational problem. Kids are spending 5-8 hours a day consuming content and parents are not equipped to handle the level of impact. We want to have a conversation that we believe will be helpful.
Discoverying the Gospel for Kids Class
Our Discovering the Gospel for Kids class is offer several times a year for kids asking questions about the gospel and baptism. It is also our pre-baptism class to help kids who have made a decision for Christ to get ready for their baptism.
How should I prepare my kids?

On Sunday mornings, during the service, we encourage all ages to participate in a time of corporate worship. Then, we take a ten minute break for our kids to make their way to a service designed especially for them. We have Compass Kids environments for kids birth–6th grade.
Parents check their kids at one of the check-in stations in the lobby either upon arrival or during the ten minute break. Once checked in, a printed child name label and parent check-out label with be provided. Name labels include your child’s name, classroom and check-in code as well as any listed food allergies. Parents are asked to accompany children to their age-specific classrooms during the break. When parents return to check-out their children after service, they will present their parent label to their child's teacher for check-in code comparison.

Jordan Shane
Jordan has a passion and joy for teaching kids about Jesus and it shows. She oversees Compass Kids on Sundays and equips volunteers and parents to use tools like Parent Cue and Planning Center. With many moving parts and special events throughout the year, Jordan works closely with her team to prepare, organize, and create meaningful opportunities for children to grow in their walk with Christ.
